County to Host Public Mills Road-Cherry Hill Road Study Informational Meeting
The Will County Division of Transportation (DOT) will hold a Public Information Meeting to share improvement options and hear public input for the Mills Road- Cherry Hill Road Phase I Study. An enhanced plan for a new hospital in Ottawa isn't enough to satisfy one major decision maker. Last week, OSF HealthCare announced plans to add eight additional medical/surgical beds and an additional procedure room to their proposed new hospital in Ottawa. At the same time OSF asked a state board to delay their permit application to give the city of Ottawa time to ponder their enhanced plan.
Starved Rock Country Community Foundation Backs New Montessori School in Ottawa
Three-to-six-year-old kids in Ottawa are a step closer to getting a jump start on their futures. The Starved Rock Country Community Foundation has announced its plan to sponsor the Trinity Rose Montessori School of Ottawa. The school is scheduled to open in the fall of 2025. It will be led by Suzannah Walter, a veteran teacher of the Montessori approach.
