    Woman rescued after 100-foot fall in Sandy

    PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A woman was rescued by firefighters after falling 100 feet at a Sandy recreation site on Sunday.

    Just before noon, Clackamas fire crews were dispatched to a technical rescue at Dodge Park in Sandy.

    About 1000 fireworks complaints lodged in Clark County

    On arrival, they found a woman had fallen 100 feet down a steep ridge.

    Firefighters used a basket and ropes to rescue the woman, who was then taken to a hospital for evaluation.

    There is no word on the woman’s condition and no further information has been released at this time.
