Couple opening Hounds Town USA in Sandy Springs

Kevin and Kathie Brown have opened a new Hounds Town USA in Sandy Springs that offers daycare and boarding for dogs.

The new business – located at 8610 Roswell Road, Suite 910 is in the River Springs Shopping Center – is the fourth Hounds Town in metro Atlanta.

Kevin has an extensive background in engineering and sustainability, working to ensure buildings are efficiently handling their energy sources. He’ll use his love for animals and the skills he learned managing a team over the past 30 years.

Kathie started volunteering at the Atlanta Humane Society in 2016. So far, she has fostered more than 150 animals. She is a medical provider specializing in hospitalized pediatric patients.

Hounds Town services include interactive dog daycare, pet boarding, and stress-free spa services. Supervised by a well-trained staff, dogs can play all day, providing both physical and mental stimulation, with a group of dogs that match their size and temperament for safe and fun socialization. Hounds Town has a no-breed discrimination policy.

Business hours are Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-7 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Booking can be done online .
