Tri-Kids-Try returns to Midland; promoting health, confidence
MIDLAND, Mich. (WNEM) - It’s time to get your little ones outside and get active! Tri-Kids-Try returns to Midland this week. The annual youth triathlon runs July 19-20 in Plymouth Park. Friday kicks off the mini-triathlon for ages 3-5 at 6 p.m. The “minis” will swim across the zero-depth entry section of the pool, head to transition and prepare to pedal or push their trikes across the parking lot. Afterwards, they’ll run the perimeter of the baseball field toward the finish line. Parents are welcome to assist their mini along the way if they choose and volunteers helping each step of the way. Flotation devices are also permitted in the pool.
