Nearly one month after the NextGen MediaMakers Festival, the finalist’s videos for all categories have been unveiled.

The NextGen MediaMakers Festival included feature stories, broadcast shows, silent and short films, among other categories.

The NextGen MediaMakers Festival was not just a competition but a community event that aimed to bring together local Santa Clarita Valley junior high and high school students.

The festival provided a unique platform for local students to network, connect and find mentorship, empowering them to explore their creativity and fostering a sense of shared achievement.

During the festival, Castaic High School’s “Good Morning Castaic” TV production program swept the awards ceremony with a win in all five categories at the inaugural NextGen MediaMakers Festival.

The Castaic High School media program, run by Charles Deuschle, dominated the competition with student awards in the categories of Public Service Announcements, Broadcast Shows, Feature Stories, Short Films and Silent Films.
