Three arrested on suspicion of beating, robbing Springville homeowner
SALT LAKE CITY — Three Utah locals have been arrested, following an investigation into an aggravated robbery in Springville. Christian Olsen, 38, Pohiva Fatafehi, 36, and Ronald Niel Noel, 51, were all arrested in late June following a Utah County Sheriff’s Office investigation into a robbery that left a victim beaten and injured, according to a booking affidavit.

1 dead, 1 injured in Pleasant Grove house fire
PLEASANT GROVE — One person was killed and another was seriously hurt in a house fire in Utah County early Wednesday morning. Chief Andrew Engemann with the Pleasant Grove Fire Department said crews responded to the home, located near 600 E. 100 North, before 2 a.m. and found the back porch and an attached room on fire.
Springville police arrest Rexburg man after late night carjacking attempt
SPRINGVILLE — A man accused of trying to carjack a driver at gunpoint late Sunday was arrested after struggling with police, forcing officers to deploy a Taser on him. Michael Spencer Tandoh, 24, who police say is a transient from Rexburg, Idaho, was booked into the Utah County Jail early Monday for investigation of aggravated robbery, trespassing and interfering with an officer.
