Two pedestrians sustained serious and critical injuries after a driver lost control of his car and crashed into a Sarasota Tiki bar on Monday, troopers said.

The 63-year-old driver was at a RaceTrac gas station parking lot at 7259 U.S. 41 in north Sarasota when he lost control and collided with a fence. He continued moving north and collided with the outside bar, according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol .

The car then collided with a concrete wall and the front of a parked SUV. Debris from the concrete wall crashed onto four other cars.

The two unidentified pedestrians were transported to a local hospital. The driver was not injured.
