Recall petition filed against Carthage council member Tiffany Cossey
CARTHAGE, Mo. — Citizens in the City of Carthage have filed a recall petition against council member Tiffany Cossey. Misconduct and incompetence are the top two reasons cited for wanting to remove Cossey from the Carthage City Council. A group of citizens went door-to-door collecting signatures and on Monday they turned in a petition with 520 signatures from residents in Ward 5 – Cossey’s ward.

Area Agency on Aging offers Workshop for People Living With Chronic Health Issues
The Living a Healthy Life workshops teach those any chronic illness how to handle symptoms that arrise with those illnesses. Research has shown that different illnesses have similar syptoms, therefore the management of those symptoms are similar. Anyone with arithritis, heart disease, depression, asthma and COPD, diabetes, and other chronic illnesses, as well as caregivers, are welcome to attend. The workshops are free and attendees will receive a resource book and a CD of relaxation techniques.
