Wet Willies to celebrate National Daiquiri Day

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Wet Willie’s, the Savannah slushie bar known for the “World’s Greatest Daiquiris” is celebrating National Daiquiri Day on Friday, July 19. They will be featuring five-ounce daiquiri flights of their signature margarita, strawberry, sour apple, and mango flavors.

Emily Dickinson Scrivner, Executive Vice President, of Wet Willie’s Management Corporation, said, “We have been a part of so many fun memories and celebrations for Savannahians and visitors alike, we are just really excited to highlight this holiday and have some fun with it. We’ve got a great photo op site at our River Street location, where the exterior window boasts, ‘You can’t come to Savannah without getting Wet Willie’s,’ and we wanted to build on something that is a tradition for so many locals and repeat visitors alike.”

Scrivner continued by saying, “We always strive to provide a fun, safe environment for our guests by employing talented, well-trained, and highly motivated staff. The flights are only available on July 19 to celebrate National Daiquiri Day. Guests are also invited to enjoy any of Wet Willie’s other popular flavors, like Call A Cab ® or Attitude Adjustment ® or combine any of their 16 flavors to make their own concoction, also known as a swirl.

Wet Willie’s first location opened on River Street in Savannah, Ga. on St. Patrick’s Day in 1990.
