Tharros Place to host educational webinar in support of World Day Against Trafficking

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Tharros Place will host an educational webinar in support of World Day Against Trafficking in Persons on July 30.

The free informational session will educate participants on the warning signs of human trafficking and provide insights into combating human trafficking.

Tharros Place is a local nonprofit that serves underage survivors of human trafficking. In 2023, the organization opened a 12-bed residential home to address underlying trauma and cultivate a culture of courage for girls ages 12 to 17.

The informational session will be led by Tharros Place’s Outreach Coordinator, Kate Templeton.
