Jason Aldean fans had to witness a bit of an alarming situation at a Georgia concert on Thursday night.

While the country singer was in the middle of performing a show at the Enmarket Arena in Savannah on Thursday, July 25, a fan from the audience tried to storm the stage, jumping onto the platform before quickly being taken down by authorities.

As seen in footage obtained by TMZ , the man was held down on the stage floor by a member of security personnel before two uniformed officers rushed to the scene to pick the man up and carry him off the stage.

At least three people held onto the man as they dragged him out of the venue while Aldean, 47, continued his performance.

According to TMZ sources, the person who rushed the stage was believed to be an overzealous fan, rather than a protester trying to target Aldean.

The "Dirt Road Anthem" singer has been notably vocal about his political beliefs lately, and he recently dedicated a song to republican candidate Donald Trump after the former president survived an assassination attempt in Pennsylvania earlier this month.

Performing his controversial song " Try That In A Small Town " at a concert in Nashville, Tenn., Aldean said, "President Trump's a friend of mine so I want to send this next song out to him."

"We all know what's gonna happen come November, so it's all good," he continued, referring to the upcoming presidential election. "Just goes to show you there's a lot of bulls--- in the world, and that's kinda what this song right here was about. So this one goes out to the [former] prez."

Aldean and his wife, Brittany Aldean , also sat with Trump while showing their support at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee this month.
