Hwy. 77 rehab project to begin May 13

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will rehabilitate five miles of State Hwy. 77 from the junction with Hwy. 63 in Hayward to County Road K in the town of Hayward beginning Monday, May 13.

The project will consist of removing a portion of the existing pavement and placing new asphalt pavement cleaning, lining or repairing culverts; and placing new pavement markings.

During construction, Highway 77 will remain open to traffic, but motorists will encounter daytime single-lane closes, controlled by flagging.

The project is scheduled for completion in early July.
