Flood rescue in Durham; flash flood warning for Durham and Orange counties
DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A flash flood warning was issued Monday afternoon for areas in central North Carolina, according to the National Weather Service. The flash flood warning was issued until 6:15 p.m. for Southern Durham County and Southeastern Orange County after up to 2.5 inches of rain had fallen and 1.5 more inches of rain was possible, the weather service warned.
