    St. Cloud's last Lake George concert postponed

    Because of inclement weather, the Summertime by George, 2024 Wednesday night concert has been postponed.

    "We are exploring options to reschedule a date for a concert that will feature the Fabulous Armadillos and Collective Unconscious bands," said Summertime by George executive committee member Diane Hageman in a release. "The raffle will be extended to the new concert date."

    The headline act, the Fabulous Armadillos, who were supposed to start at 7 p.m., play many genres of music from Country to Motown to Heavy Metal to 70’s Soft Rock.

    Walter’s Wheelhouse, was the opening act and was supposed to start at 5:30 p.m. This band covers tunes with a groove. From Sheryl Crow, Santana, and Prince to Jack Johnson, Band Perry, to Guns ‘N Roses. They mix modern pop with R & B, rock & roll and country.

    This was to be the last concert of the season.
