Overton admitted with his plea on November 20 that he had a bag of cocaine and a loaded handgun when he was pulled over by State Police in Albany on September 15, 2020. The cocaine and gun were found in a hidden compartment in his car, according to the DOJ. He was already prohibited from having a gun and ammunition because of a prior felony conviction.
