The warning was for Bucks, Chester and Montgomery counties. "The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property. On hot days, it can feel hotter in some Pennsylvania cities, according to a new analysis by Climate Central, a non-profit science communications group. That’s because of the urban heat-island index – additional heat absorbed and released by buildings, roads, and pavement.
