Dean Knittel Memorial highlights PRP
WEST PORTSMOUTH — Portsmouth Raceway Park hosted the seventh annual Dean Knittel Memorial, presented by Roger Hemming Contractor LLC, on Saturday night. Rico Abreu — of St. Helena in California — picked up the victory in The Kubota High Limit 410 Winged Sprint Car Series Race, which paid $25,554 to win and dished out a total purse of over $80,000.

BOARDMAN OH- Canfield bounced back and took down Wheelersburg 5-1 on Monday in the winner-take-all championship game of the 10U state tournament. An early error got Canfield on the board in the first inning. Reese Grimes singled for Wheelersburg, tying the game at one in the bottom of the first.

PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (July 13, 2024)- Rico Abreu passed Chris Windom on lap 21 and went on to win the 30 lap Kubota High Limit Racing feature Saturday night during the Dean Knittle Memorial. Following Abreu was Skylar Gee, Chris Windom, Parker Price Miller and Cory Elisason. Abreu’s win was worth $25,554.

Kubota High Limit Racing visited Portsmouth Raceway Park in West Portsmouth, Ohio, on Saturday for the 30lap, $25,554-to-win Dean Knittel Memorial. Rico Abreu denied Chris Windom of his would-be first High Limit victory as Abreu took the lead from Windom with 10 laps remaining and never looked back. Skylar Gee finished second, 1.058 seconds behind while Windom, who led a race-high 20 laps, finished third.
