Chuck Dutrow is set to open Kindred Spirits Alcohol-Free Bar in Chambersburg on August 2. This initiative is designed to offer a safe, alcohol-free social environment for recovering alcoholics and others seeking such settings. Dutrow, who began drinking at 13 and later struggled with severe addiction and depression, credits his recovery to a lifestyle overhaul that included clean eating and rigorous exercise, leading to a full recovery from end-stage liver disease.
