    Cornerstone Healing Center launches virtual mental health program

    Cornerstone Healing Center announced the launch of its Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program, which is designed to address a wide variety of mental health conditions.

    The new program features virtual group therapy, individual counseling and educational workshops, delivered through a user-friendly telehealth platform, according to a press release.

    “Our new program offers a holistic solution for healing,” Estil Wallace, founder and CEO of Cornerstone Healing Center, stated in the release.

    Wallace says that the center aims to make comprehensive treatment accessible to anyone facing mental health challenge ot navigating life events, providing clients with support to build resilience and learn coping skills.

    The newly launched VIOP uses an evidence-based approach to treat a wide range of mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, mood disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders, postpartum depression, grief, trauma and more, the release stated.

    Participants meet virtually three times per week, for both group and individual therapy sessions. Additionally, the program grants participants access to digital resources, continual support and a one-on-one wellness coach.

    The eight-week program includes nine hours of group therapy sessions and weekly one-on-one therapy sessions with a clinician. The program uses evidence-backed cognitive behavioral therapy to change negative thought patterns and dialectical behavior therapy to improve emotional regulation and build coping skills, according to the release.

    “This program makes it easy to get the care you need, from the comfort of your own home,” Marcus Clark, COO of Cornerstone Healing Center, stated in the release. “We understand that everyone’s mental health journey is different, that’s why we’ve tailored our program to meet the unique needs of our participants.”
