    County Director of Arts and Culture speaks on Scranton mural

    SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Work is underway on the Scranton Gateway Mural which means some changes in traffic patterns.

    The Lackawanna County Director of Arts and Culture says work will shift from the wall nearest the Radisson at Lackawanna Station along the lanes that carry traffic out of the downtown.

    Work is now being done to the wall along the lanes that brings traffic from the expressway and South Scranton into the downtown.

    One lane is closed and will be closed through September.

    No date on when the mural is expected to be done.
