    Two new cases of West Nile Virus found in Lackawanna County

    LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Two new cases of West Nile Virus have been found in Lackawanna County.

    Two mosquitoes tested positive for the virus in Moosic and Scranton.

    This is the fifth and sixth case of West Nile found in mosquitoes this year in Lackawanna County.

    Details into lawsuit filed against Dunmore School District

    Experts say to protect yourself from insects by wearing long pants and long sleeves if you are going outside for long periods of time.

    So far, no human cases have been reported.
