ASTORIA — The North Coast Symphonic Band is playing a program of patriotic music to honor Independence Day at 7 p.m. Wednesday on the Liberty Theatre stage. Rideout announced as Astoria Visual Arts resident
ASTORIA — Jenny Rideout will be Astoria Visual Arts’ newest artist in residence, beginning in July and continuing through Dec. 30. During the six-month residency, Rideout will move into a downtown studio space within the Astoria Studio Collective on 10th Street. She plans to use the time and space to continue her latest textile-based body of work, “Sails, Freq Flags, and Bonnets for Space Exploration.”
