Fairfax County Public Schools boundary line debate sparks parental concerns
FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — Fairfax County Public Schools is debating how they will draw new school boundary lines, which could affect where existing students go to school. The vote to revise Policy 8130 has yet to happen, but one group called FairFacts Matters is prepared to sue. The group has set up an online fundraiser to mount a legal challenge. It has already raised more than $25,000.

WEST FALLS CHURCH, Va. — Police are investigating after more than two dozen cars were found with slashed tires early Wednesday morning in Fairfax County. "I go to start driving and go to my job, and I see the two flat tires," said Pablo as he worked to replace one of his two slashed tires Wednesday night. He told WUSA9 he was shocked when he saw his car like that, especially since he just got it a few weeks ago.
Police called after assault at Rockville grocery store
Rockville City police were called to a grocery store at the King Farm Village Center, after an individual was allegedly assaulted there Saturday night, July 13, 2024. The assault was reported at the Safeway store at 403 Redland Boulevard at 9:05 PM. An individual was also accused of shoplifting in the same incident.
