Several weeks after the closing of the last Mod Pizza in Montgomery County, the struggling chain has been sold. Mod Pizza is now a division of Elite Restaurant Group, a California firm that already owned a half-dozen other pizza chains. Gunfire strikes residence during Germantown shooting
Montgomery County detectives are investigating a shooting in Germantown on Wednesday night in which bullets struck a residence, according to police. Police said Thursday in a statement that a preliminary investigation revealed a residence was struck during the incident in the 20000 block of Staffordshire Drive and the shooting suspects had fled the scene.
