    It's time for the annual appearance of " faux spring ," it seems, and that makes it a great weekend to get out and about. Here are a few ideas to get you started:

    🚛 Compete in a quirky costume contest , try local beers or take a late polar bear plunge at the Alki Beach Winter Food Truck & Beer Festival on Saturday from 11am to 4:30pm.


    🩰 Get your dance on with dynamic Dutch electronic music duo Sub Zero Project at Substation on Saturday at 10pm. Tickets are $30 but going fast .

    🎻 Check out the Wintergrass Music Festival , featuring dances, workshops and performances of bluegrass and acoustic music on four stages at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Bellevue through Sunday.

    • Tickets range from $25 for a student one-day pass to $190 for an all-events pass. Kids 12 and under are free.

    🎸 Discover some of the area's younger musical talent at MoPop's all-ages Sound Off performance, featuring Sophia Shoshana , Joint Souls , Mason Derleth and Brannon Warn-Johnston on Saturday at 8pm.

    🐲 Celebrate the Year of the Dragon on Saturday at the annual Lunar New Year Celebration in the Chinatown-International District, where you can take a food walk, watch a K-pop performance, see a martial arts demonstration and much more.

    • Saturday from around 11am to 4pm. Free.

    📽️ Watch flicks at the 12th Annual Seattle Asian American Film Festival remotely or in person at the Northwest Film Forum Thursday through March 3. Ticket and pass prices vary .

    🍒 Honor "Twin Peaks" Day on Sunday with a trip to North Bend, Snoqualmie and Fall City, the setting for the surreal fictional crime drama.
