Top-pair Kraken defenseman Vince Dunn is missing his second game since getting plastered head-first into the glass by Calgary's Martin Pospisil on Monday.

Joey Daccord, whose heroic last-second save preserved Seattle's 4-3 victory in Winnipeg Tuesday, returns to the Seattle net. However, his opposite number in the game north of the border, Connor Hellebuyck, reportedly is suffering from the flu which has affected his entire team this week.

Hellebuyck isn't on the Jets' bench. Laurent Brossoit goes between the pipes for the visitors.

Winnipeg's Dylan Samberg makes the game's first - and so far only - big play, intercepting a pass to break up a Seattle 3-on-1.

Both teams skate hard, pass the puck, make line changes and stay hydrated. But darned if there's anything else to write about. Shots are 9-8 Jets after 20 minutes, with none crossing the goal line.
