Editor's Note: This is the second of two stories guest-written by Seattle Kraken fan Scout Clark. We asked Scout to tell you a little bit about herself before she dives into her latest food reviews from Climate Pledge Arena.

"I’m a lifelong Washingtonian and a hockey fan since 2008. I followed the Canucks (geographically closest) until the NHL announced we would be getting our own team. I’ve been a half-season ticket holder since day one!

"I have no professional culinary experience. But I do love to bake for my friends and coworkers. I started reviewing CPA food just for fun.

"The Kraken have made a real effort to make the CPA a great eating experience. I thought reviews would help me and others make good choices there."

I've had Sound Pizza before, but not since they switched from pan to Neapolitan-style.

I really like the switch! Only one pie had correct caramelization of the pan crust, so changing was the right call.

Editor's note: "Caramelization is a complex group of reactions that take place when sugars are subjected to high temperatures to form unique brown colors and flavors in baked products." (Wikipedia)

Pictured is their regular Salumi pie - coro salami, coro soppressata, and coro pepperoni. Crust is delish, crunchy and chewy, with just the right amount of cheese for eating at CPA.

At a future game, I'm tempted to try their "seasonal" pie, which includes pepperoni, hot sausage, and hot honey.

    Go Bowl-Ing

If you're sitting in the lower bowl - the WaFd Bank or Symetra Club seating - there are different, and appetizing, concessions.

What you're looking at above came from Barrio Bowls. The Al Pastor is filled with cilantro lime rice, citrus port shoulder, black beans, corn, and crema.

It's great. The pork is tender, while the corn and beans balance the spicy salsa. I worried at first it would be too spicy, but the mix worked, and the bowl is recommended.
