Which Climate Pledge Arena Items Score With Our Food Expert?

This is what Climate Pledge Arena says about its culinary offerings:
"The food and beverage program inspires and creates long-lasting memories, just as Seattle food has done for its residents and visitors for decades. We are committed to providing a program that surpasses the culinary experience typically found in an arena."
We asked Day One Seattle Kraken fan - and foodie - Scout Clark to put that description to the (taste) test. In the first of two columns, Scout reviews a pair of popular concession items.
Putting Their Best Foot Forward

I got the Foot Long Dog from Bavarian Meats a couple of times this season, It has pork belly jam hash and "Baconaise." It's really amazing.
The first time, the dog was served with a stale bun. The second time, the bun wasn't as stale, but not really fixed. However, I can forgive anything with Baconaise! The pork belly jam hash is the star.
Do have plenty of water or other beverage handy, since the hash and bacon-mayo are quite strong flavors.
Chilly: The Rink. Chili: The Lime Carnitas

One guess what I ordered from the 1st Ave. Nachos concession stand.
You got it - nachos.
There are a few options, First is the regular size (pictured). Or, you can choose the HUGE souvenir hockey helmet. No way I'd get that; the aftermath could be a Thanksgiving-like food coma.
Also, the logistics of carrying home a nacho'd hockey helmet could be awkward. But if you really love nachos, or you're sharing, the helmet could be the way to go.
Back to the nachos, they start with Juanita Tortilla Chips, one of the best local-ish chips (based in Hood River, Oregon).
Protein options include ancho chicken and Impossible Beef. I picked Chili Lime Carnitas; they come with white queso, pico de gallo, avocado crema, and pickled & fresh jalapenos.
This is really good as a concession food. The chili lime isn't spicy (which for some would be a negative). But the pico and jalapenos more than make up for the mild carnitas. And the queso is excellent.
