Alex Wennberg, traded Wednesday from the Seattle Kraken, made a successful Broadway debut Saturday night.
In the New York Rangers' 4-0 shutout of the St. Louis Blues at Madison Sq. Garden, the Swedish center skated 15:12. He earned his first point, an assist on the Blueshirts' fourth goal.
"The first couple of shifts, maybe a little rusty, but for me, it felt great," Wennberg said to NHL.com . "Obviously, coming to a great team as well. At the end of the day, all that matters is the win and the points."
