Rotten, No Good, Very Bad Kraken Season Ends Soon. Enjoy It Anyway

Let's get this out of the way: the Seattle Kraken are coming off back-to-back heartbreaking losses. Their season-long inability to score has left players frustrated and fans ready to chew nails. Failing to return to the playoffs will be a colossal bummer.
That was cleansing, wasn't it?
Now, here are a bunch of reasons fans can still look forward to the final 13 games on the Kraken schedule, starting with Sunday's Climate Pledge Arena match against the Montreal Canadiens.
Goaltenders: Do you realize that Joey Daccord is tied for 2nd in THE ENTIRE NHL with a .917 save percentage? Philipp Grubauer, in six of nine starts since returning from injury, has allowed two or fewer goals.
Milestones: Kailer Yamamoto is scheduled to play his 300th NHL game tonight. Jordan Eberle's next assist will be his 400th. Adam Larsson has skated in every Kraken game there's ever been.
Opponents: Go see the most storied franchise in all of professional hockey. Bonus: tonight will be the last chance to hear the Canadian National Anthem at CPA.
Winnable Games: Seattle has three games left with the Anaheim Ducks and two with the San Jose Sharks. Any win is a good win, right?
A Peek At The Future: With playoffs no longer a consideration, we may get a late-season look at some of the Coachella Valley Firebirds who could populate the Kraken roster next season.
Enjoy Your Favorites: Rosters churn; this is the business they've chosen. So whoever's sweater you wear, whoever's bobblehead is on your shelf, enjoy seeing them on your local team - because there's no guarantee they won't be changing sweaters themselves this summer.
It's Hockey: Whether you're watching on TV, listening on the radio, attending in person at CPA - or most importantly, reading about it online - a baker's dozen is all that's left of Kraken hockey (and just a half-dozen at home). Then it's wait until next year. So treat yourself to the best three hours of entertainment you'll find anywhere.
