Next-To-Last Chance To See Shane Wright & Kraken Tuesday Vs. Coyotes
By Glenn Dreyfuss,

The Seattle Kraken play their final two home games of the season this week, beginning Tuesday by hosting the Arizona Coyotes.
Fans at Climate Pledge Arena shouldn't expect to see leading scorer Jared McCann or defenseman Vince Dunn, both gametime decisions but doubtful with injuries.
What fans should see are rookies Ryan Winterton and Logan Morrison, reunited on the Kraken 4th line. Also Shane Wright, again centering Jordan Eberle and Jaden Schwartz.
Wright is coming off a two goal, one assist effort Friday in Anaheim, but close obervers were equally impressed with his awareness in the defensive zone.

Six minutes into the 3rd period Seattle leads by two goals. The Ducks' Trevor Zegras (TZ) from behind the net, avoids a Kraken double-team to make a nifty backhand pass into the slot.
Shane Wright (SW) watches from the right circle.

William Lagesson (WL) skates in from the blueline to rip the puck from between the circles - the definition of a grade-A chance.
Wright, who started the sequence along the near boards, goes not to where the puck is, but into the path of where it's going.

Just as important, he puts himself into correct blocking position with the lowest risk of injury.
Lagesson's heavy shot caroms off Wright all the way to center ice, neutralizing what may have been Anaheim's best chance to get back into a game the Kraken won, 3-1.
Roed Game
The latest entry-level signings filling the Kraken pipeline made their pro debuts over the weekend. Defenseman Lukas Dragicevic, a 2023 2nd round draft choice, suited up for the Coachella Valley Firebirds Sunday in their 7-2 pasting of the Abbotsford Canucks.
Lleyton Roed, an undrafted forward signee out of Minnesota's Bemidji State, had made his first appearance a day earlier. Both players are up in the AHL on amateur tryouts, so the Firebirds chose Sunday for their "solo" practice laps.
Once the game started, Roed scored the sixth Coachella Valley goal.
