"Amarant," as far as I can tell, isn't even a word. It's a bank holding company. Amaranth, according to WebMd, is a plant "used for ulcers, diarrhea, swelling of the mouth or throat, and high cholesterol, but there is no good scientific evidence to support these uses." Again, uh-uh.

"Amazon Arena" would have been a cool name in its own right, but the company decided to go with "Climate Pledge." New-agey? Sure, but in service to a crucial cause. Advantage Kraken .
