Editor's Note: Previously, we presented 20 Seattle Kraken trivia questions here . We provided answers to questions 1-10 here . Now, without further ado, the reveal of answers to questions 11-20.

    2023-24 Kraken Team Records, Continued

    11. What was the Kraken single-period high in shots, and shots allowed?

The Kraken fired 20 1st period shots the day before Halloween in Tampa Bay. 11 days earlier, they'd allowed 21 in the first period of a home game against Carolina.

    12. What did the Kraken fail to do for the only time on Mar. 8, 2024 in Winnipeg?

For the entire home game against Winnipeg, the Kraken weren't called for a single penalty.

    13. In which period did the Kraken both score and allow the most goals?

The 3rd period was the most offensive both for and against the Kraken. Seattle scored 74 of their 214 goals in the final frame, two more than in the 1st period. Opponents tallied 82 of their 232 goals in the 3rd.

    14. Of the five hat tricks the Kraken allowed last season, two were scored by players on the same team, four days apart. Name the opponent. (Bonus for naming the skaters!)

In a 4-1 home loss to the Edmonton Oilers on Nov. 11, Zach Hyman scored three goals. Four days later in Edmonton, Evander Kane sealed a 4-3 overtime victory with his hat-trick goal.

    15. Name the Kraken defensemen with the highest point totals (35. 64, 46) in each of the franchise's first three seasons.

Trick question; those numbers all belong to the same player, Vince Dunn. His 46 points last season, on 11 goals and 35 assists, came in just 59 regular-season games. Dunn missed 23 games due to injury.

    16. The quickest goal from the start of a period by a Kraken player was scored by Calle Jarnkrok in 2021. How quick was it?

Jarnkrok lit the lamp a mere nine seconds into the 2nd period of a 6-4 home loss to Calgary on Dec. 30, 2021.

    17. Multiple choice: how many goals, both teams combined, in the highest-scoring single period in Kraken history?
    a. 6 b. 7 c. 8 d. 10

During the middle period in Los Angeles on Nov. 29, 2022, the Kraken scored five times, while giving up three to the Kings.

    18. In that same game, who was the Kraken goalie who set a team record for most most goals allowed, eight, in a single game? (Bonus if you know the incredible side note to this answer.)

Martin Jones went the distance for Seattle, and the distance must have felt like a million miles. He gave up eight scores - but finished as the WINNING goalie. Andre Burakovsky scored on a power play at 2:08 of overtime to complete an insane 9-8 Kraken win.

    19. What defensive record did the Kraken set against Edmonton on Nov. 11, 2023?

In that Zach Hyman hat trick game (answer #14 above), the Kraken permitted zero shots on goal to the Oilers in the 3rd period.

    20. This winger played just 12 games as a Kraken, but holds the all-time team mark for penalty minutes in a single game with 27. Who was he?

During the fourth game in franchise history, Oct. 18, 2021 in Philadelphia, Nathan Bastian was feeling feisty.

During a 2nd period melee (in Philly? you don't say), Bastian and the Flyers' Nate Thompson received matching misconduct penalties. One period later, Bastian and Thompson received matching fighting and second misconduct penalties.

Combined with an earlier roughing minor, that makes 27 PIM. The Kraken waived Bastian five weeks later; he's since found a home with the New Jersey Devils.
