The Seattle Kraken have selected Nathan Villeneuve 63rd overall in the 2024 NHL Draft.

Playing with the Sudbury Wolves this season, the 18-year-old scored 23 goals and 50 points in 56 games. Born in Ottawa, Ontario, Villeneuve is listed at 5'11, 194 lbs.

Villeneuve is best described as a physical, defensively sound centreman. He plays at a high pace but isn't known for being the most skilled forward. An elevated role next year will help Villeneuve show his full skill set.

The Kraken have now made three selections in the draft and each has been a centreman from the CHL.
