The Seattle Kraken's most recent free agent signing, Josh Mahura, gets his name written on the Stanley Cup with the Florida Panthers.

The Panthers petitioned to get Mahura's and Jonah Gadjovich's names on the Stanley Cup despite not reaching the required games and not playing during a single game during the Stanley Cup finals.

Mahura signed with the Kraken on July 3rd, signing a league-minimum deal that will likely see him as the team's seventh defenseman heading into the 2024-25 season.

The Kraken will be the third franchise the 26-year-old has played for but he joins the team with 191 career games of experience.
