Carmack among Red Wolves' new commits
It was a big day for new Arkansas State coach Mike Silva with a pair of Power 5 transfers committing to the Red Wolves, including one who is a familiar face. Former A-State standout Kyler Carmack, who spent last season at Ole Miss, announced via X Sunday night he was "coming home." And former Pulaski Academy standout Patrick Engskov, an infielder, announced he was transferring from Oklahoma to A-State.The 6-foot-2 Carmach, who will be a junior, saw action in 10 games for the Rebels and worked just 13.2 innings. As a freshman at A-State he was 5-3 with a 3.23 ERR and earned freshman All-American honors.
