Torrential rain is impacting parts of the Southeast Texas Gulf Coast this morning. In the past few hours, nearly eight inches of rain has fallen in Dickinson, just south of Houston, toward Galveston County. There is considerable street flooding, and all the water will take a while to drain. We almost had a waterspout/tornado issue near Baytown before 3 AM, too.
Tyler High coach ‘pleasantly pleased’ with Lions' improvement last season
TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - The Tyler High Lions are headed into a new district this season and Head Coach Rashaun Woods is hoping to build off the success from last year. “I was pleasantly pleased with how the guys worked,” said Woods. “The place that the Lions were in going into the season, and where we ended up at the end of the season was a tremendous improvement for the program and the community.”
