Update: South Alabama under a heat advisory Wednesday
On Tuesday at 7:34 p.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated heat advisory valid for Wednesday between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. for Choctaw, Washington, Clarke, Wilcox, Monroe, Conecuh, Butler, Crenshaw, Escambia, Covington, Mobile and Baldwin counties. The weather service comments, "Heat index values up to 109 degrees expected."
MPD investigating 1 shot on Water Oak Court
MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Mobile Police said they responded to Water Oak Court in reference to a one shot call. The call came in between 12:30 a.m. and 1 a.m. Wednesday morning. MPD said a dispute occurred at a restaurant and carried over to Water Oak Court, leading to shots fired.
