Registered Upstate sex offender arrested on multiple charges

A registered sex offender arrested on sexual exploitation of a minor charges.

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of 36-year-old Carl Lee Robert Price of Seneca in connection to the sexual exploitation of a minor and a larceny investigation.

Price was arrested on July 9th in Union County after it was discovered he had failed to register both a vehicle and employment information within the timeframe required by law for registered sex offenders in South Carolina.

Further investigation also found that Price was not residing at his address listed with the Sex Offender Registrar’s Office.

He was also found to be in possession of and to have distributed sexually explicit images of children.

Price is charged with ten counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor – 2nd Degree and Grand Larceny.

The investigation is still ongoing.
