    Sergeant Bluff-Luton assistant principal, activities director resigns after being placed on administrative leave

    SERGEANT BLUFF, Iowa (KCAU) — Sergeant Bluff-Luton’s assistant principal and activities director has resigned after he was placed on paid administrative leave, the school confirmed to KCAU 9.

    According to SB-L Superintendent Chad Janzen, Brian Herman, the school’s assistant principal and activities director, was placed on paid administrative leave on June 20.

    Four days later, on June 24, Janzen said Herman submitted a letter of resignation. The school board accepted the resignation on June 26.

    Janzen said that due to matters of personnel being confidential, no additional statements on Herman’s resignation will be provided.
