Renovations celebrated at Seven Fields pool
SEVEN FIELDS — A project three years in the making has been completed at the Seven Fields Town Park Pool, 390 Castle Creek Drive. The renovation project started in 2022, borough manager Tom Smith said, with phase one and two of the project completed in 2023 and phase three finished on June 10, when the pool reopened.

Activities Planned At Moraine State Park
It’s a great weekend to enjoy some outdoor activities at Moraine State Park. First, a Star Party is planned for Saturday night from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Lakeview Beach Area on the North Shore of Moraine. Volunteers from the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh will bring their privately owned telescopes to help participants learn how to spot a few planets and constellations. Those planning to attend should bring a lawn chair or blanket as well as bug spray. No smoking, flashlights, light-up toys, or cell phones at this free event.

The Zelda Dungeon team had the pleasure of interacting with Haley Beahr of Wyrmwood Pryo at Pittsburgh’s Tekko convention this year! She had one of the most striking tables in the Artist Alley, as it was chock-full of pyrographic pieces. Pyrography is art made with fire on many mediums, but Beahr chose wood for her bases and colored pencils to bring them to life.
