Conestoga alum Hogue talks NCAA Woman of the Year nomination, career at Nebraska Wesleyan
(KMAland) -- Former Conestoga standout and recent Nebraska Wesleyan alum Isabella Hogue has been nominated for the prestigious NCAA Woman of the Year award. Hogue is among two from Nebraska Wesleyan and six from the American Rivers Conference that were nominated for the award, which honors senior female student-athletes for academic achievement, athletic excellence, service and leadership.

CRIME STOPPERS: Weekend Trespassing Cases Under Investigation

Nebraska football on a quest to finally meet the media's expectations
It's July, so that means Big Ten Media Days are underway. The annual Big Ten Media Preseason Poll was released to kick off the event, with Ohio State expected to be the conference’s best team while the Huskers come in at 8th. This aligns with my expectations for Nebraska football in 2024, but over the last decade, the media has been wrong about one team more than any other. As I’ve written, Nebraska football has been on a historic run of falling short of expectations.

Aging infrastructure has become a growing concern at many Norfolk Public Schools, potentially translating into more dollars needed for building renovations.
