PSP Roundup: More charges for duo accused of stealing almost $1,500 from Chambersburg Walmart
17 July 2024- Two women who were charged with thousands of dollars in retail thefts from a Cumberland County Walmart are now facing charges in Franklin County. Toni Marshall and Deja Tubbs were charged in Cumberland County in May and are looking at retail theft charges in Franklin County after allegedly stealing from Chambersburg’s Walmart.

Franklin County roundup: Greencastle man charged with assaulting firefighter responding to his car crash
15 July 2024- Pennsylvania State Police say that a Greencastle man is facing charges after he allegedly assaults a firefighter responding to a vehicle crash he was in earlier this month. PSP have charged Christopher Lee Stone with felony aggravated assault against designated individuals, misdemeanor resisting arrest, and summary harassment. He remains behind bars on $10,000 bail.
Chambersburg Residence Burglarized; Police Seek Information
A burglary incident occurred at a residence located in the 200 block of E Washington Street, Chambersburg, between July 12, 2024, and July 16, 2024. Chambersburg Police Department officials reported that an unknown suspect or suspects forcibly entered the basement of the property and removed copper piping and water meters.
Hagerstown man sentenced in 2022 shooting outside Valley Mall
A Hagerstown man was sentenced Tuesday to 20 years in state prison for a shooting in the Valley Mall parking lot in June 2022 that injured a Fairplay man. Referring to a witness at the mall with his family at the time of the shooting, Washington County Circuit Court Judge Brett R. Wilson said others could have been injured from Matthew Steven Lookabaugh's actions that day.
