    Shallowater ISD introduces new head baseball coach for Shallowater High School

    Shallowater, Texas — Shallowater Independent School District Friday morning announced in a press release Brent Paris as Shallowater High School’s new head baseball coach.

    Paris received his Bachelor’s degree from Sul Ross State University where he played college baseball. He also obtained a Master’s degree in Athletic Administration from Concordia University- Irvine.

    According to the release, Coach Paris has been the head baseball coach at Melissa High School since 2021. Prior to his coaching at Melissa High he was the head baseball coach at Levelland starting 2013.

    The release added Paris brings “tremendous experience to Shallowater in baseball, football, culture and leadership.”

    Paris has served on the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association Board in different leadership roles since 2016. In addition, he brings multiple years of playoff experience and was awarded District Coach of the Year 3 times,

    Shallowater ISD Athletic Director Rodney Vincent expressed, “I am really excited about the passion and energy Coach Paris brings to the game of baseball and his investment in the development of young men.”
