An NJ student says many teachers face a lack of respect, poor pay and poor working conditions. Editor’s note: NJ Spotlight News and Rowan University teamed up on a project this spring to amplify New Jersey’s youth voices and perspectives on important public policy topics. The project involved students in the university’s first-year writing program, each assigned to write an op-ed. This is the second of two that Rowan faculty and NJ Spotlight News chose as exemplars. Test calling ISIS terrorists sparks trouble for NJ school superintendent
WAYNE — Parents are holding a school superintendent's feet to the fire after he apologized for a test question that called ISIS an Islamic terror group.
