Sheffield’s Kyler Earns PGE Scholarship
WARREN, Pa. – Pennsylvania General Energy, LLC is honored to announce their 2023-2024 school year “Teen of the Year” award to Sheffield graduate Chase Kyler. Along with this honor comes a $5,000 scholarship provided courtesy of PGE. Throughout the school year for 12 weeks, teens were selected weekly and honored as “Teen of the Week” with recognition. At the end of the program, one teen was ultimately selected for the “Teen of the Year.”
New Exhibit Coming to the Cultural Center
The Onöhsagwë: de’ Cultural Center will examine the life of Seneca war chief Cornplanter and provide insight into life on the Cornplanter Grant in a new exhibit scheduled to open August 3, 2024. The major highlight of the exhibition will be the display of the public original Cornplanter monument.
