Why Halle Berry Swiftly Exited Kim Kardashian’s Legal Drama a Week After Her Casting Was Announced

Just last week, reports confirmed that Kim Kardashian ‘s upcoming Hulu legal drama , titled All’s Fair , had cast two key players: Halle Berry and Glenn Close . But while their hirings showed how promising the project could become, new sources are already reporting that Berry has decided to exit.

Kim Kardashian Allegedly Wants to Get Back Together With This Ex for a Strategic Reason

According to Variety , the Oscar winner, who was set to star as well as executive produce the project, left due to a scheduling conflict. Reps for Berry, Hulu, and 20th Television declined to comment on her departure to the outlet for the time being.

As a reminder, the Ryan Murphy-created show, which also has Kardashian as star and executive producer, will be about an all-female law firm in Los Angeles. According to Deadline , Murphy described it as “a high-end, glossy and sexy adult procedural.”

With that exciting premise, and Close still attached to the project for now, we still can’t wait to see it come to life!

Kardashian, who is making her first official acting debut this year in American Horror Story: Delicate , has been open about taking her acting ventures seriously moving forward.

“I can do a movie a year, I’ve got about 10 years where I still look good, so that’s all I’ve got in me and then I’ll take some time off,” she said in a recent episode of The Kardashians , per People . “That’s my 10-year plan.”

“I feel like you need less Botox for more emotion and I don’t have it,” the SKIMS founder then joked to her friends, adding “I’m not gonna be gaining 500 lbs. for a role… that’s not where I need to be.”

So while she may have her conditions, it seems Kardashian’s quite invested in making this new career path really work out. Hopefully, she won’t let Berry’s sudden exit change that!
