The young Lydia Deetz, played by Winona Ryder , is now a mother to a daughter who basically hated her: Astrid Deetz, played by Jenna Ortega. After the Deetz dad passes away, the family goes back to the house from the first film; and as you can imagine, things go awry as Beetlejuice and many other ghosts enter their lives.
