Stars & Stripes Forever in Noblesville
Storms swept through Hamilton County twice on Thursday: once in the morning and once in the evening. Between those two rounds of rain, Noblesville had the only dry 4th of July parade. Carmel had the wettest parade we have ever seen. Cicero canceled its late-morning parade over public safety concerns. Sheridan also canceled its parade, but the local version of the Rebel Alliance had a small one later in the day anyway.
Three FAST swimmers win at Open Water State Championship
Several Hamilton County swimmers competed in the 2024 Open Water State Championship, which took place June 25 at Geist Waterfront Park in Fishers. There were three winners from Fishers Area Swimming Tigers (FAST). Liam Chop won the Boys 11-12 division, Lexi Adams was first in the Girls 13-14 category and AJ Adams won the Boys 15 and over division. Carmel Swim Club’s Addy Czarnecki was first in the Girls 15 and over category.
