Colleton County Sheriff’s Office Cadets attend 2024 Summer SCALE
Congratulations to the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office Cadets and their Advisors on their accomplishments in the 2024 Summer SCALE. Cadets from across South Carolina and one team from Tennessee came together in Summerville to compete in order to show who is the best of the best, 14 teams participated.
Walterboro Man Arrested for Charleston Homicide
The Charleston Police Department have arrested a 26-year-old Walterboro resident as a suspect for a homicide that occurred near a playground in downtown Charleston. Following an investigation, Lymik Nyshawn Pierce was arrested on July 22, 2024, and charged with murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. He is currently in custody at the Al Cannon Detention Center in Charleston pending a bond hearing.
